This beaded reef was inspired by my recent travels to the Caribbean and Hawaii. The base consists of 4 joined loom strips with lots of kinky coral fringe added to the loomwork. I then made a cotton fish form that I embroidered with beads, a brick stitch starfish, a spikey sea urchin, a 3-D lobster sculpted using brick stitch and peyote stitch, and the jellyfish was designed around a blown glass bead by Jane Olson
