GLASS PLAYGROUND(12"x20" oval)-Glass Playground is an oval shaped bead collage employing all my odds and ends (things that didn't quite become jewelry, or new techniques which I tried, just to see if I could). I have also added different types of manufactured and hand-lampworked beads, as well as sequins and a big purple spike. This piece took over a year to completely fill all the empty spaces. I call it Glass Playground because it is so full of texture that the hands tend to stray. "Glass Playground" was featured in Dec/Jan 2001 issue of Beadwork Magazine.
