GOLD SCARAB- This large neckpiece was inspired by Egyptian jewelry. The base is made of square turquoise beads that have been stitched together, and encrusted in 24K gold electroplated seed beads of various sizes. The center cabachon is Parrot Wing, making up the body of the scarab, who is holding an opal triplet. Tiny faceted emeralds are stitched like sequins to the scarab's wings and the braided necklace. Sculpted lotus flowers, jade beads, and an 18K gold clasp finish the piece.
