I worked on this piece for over 10 years and have finally completed it. The motifs are graphed out from Egyptian pictographs and portray the many aspects of Egyptian culture and life. As the designs are placed in four different directions, I mounted the beadwork onto canvas, framed it with a bicycle tire and mounted it onto a lazy susan so it can be viewed on all sides. I have always been fascinated with ancient Egyptian culture and art; probably because they were some of the first beaders!
