CHESHIRE CAT (5"x7") is a self portrait of sorts. It began as Glass Playground: a collage of all my black & white odds and ends. I began to grow bored and desired a hint of color. As I stitched the hot pink beads in, the smile of the Cheshire Cat took form. His eyes are some of my first lampwork beads and his tail is, of course, one of my pink dread locks.
